the most bugging problem on this planet. violence in the streets. in our houses. within families.between rivals. between groups,nations,tribes and religions. ever present. nowadays more visible. in different forms. verbal and physical. mental violence may exist also.to prove and maintain superiority.to impose upon others your creed,religion,point of view. to eradicate differences in culture and thought.to destroy opposite thoughts and beliefs.whether right or wrong. in most cases it is initiated by those whose thoughts are evil.but who will decide whether one's actions are righteous or not.what is the end result. can we control the spread of violent thoughts and actions. like fire,violence may sometimes get out of hand and lead to contrary results. satyameva jayate, sanskrit. truth will triumph.violence beteen nations is permissible ,apparently.it is sometimes necessary to use violence to protect oneself and one's possessions.mahatma gandhi preached and practised non violence.ahimsa.moral authority always is with those who practise non violence.but sometimes physical violence ,which is more visible is caused by word violence, which is not clearly evident.and again,word violence is the response to mental violence. does make one think.violence is in itself a weapon .used primarily by those in ignorance of the supreme truth of oneness of us all.to satisfy primal urges,desires,passions,sometimes to achieve certain goals.non violence exists not only in physical form but also in thought and word. today it is very rare to find a thought or word or deed which is not derogatory of others thoughts ,words and deeds. to compare is natural. and yet to destroy is unnatural. to change is inevitable,apparently. to supplant existing with other existing thoughts,philosophies,creeds is only for achieving some goal.to impose is only to control briefly before one is replaced.free thought does not mean freedom to denigrate other thought forms. freedom of choice must be allowed and such freedom should not destroy or impinge on that of others
